Round Trip's Texas premiere was at the Prison City Film Festival where we took home Best Film in our category, Most Original Film and Best Score which I was incredibly proud to present to our amazing composer Rafael May.
I was only able to be there for the last three days of the festival so I had missed our screening. The festival had chosen Round Trip to launch the whole program, it was the first film screened in the first session of the festival. They were so thrilled that I had come so far to be there that they screened the film again.
Our star Lee Priest used to live in Texas and he's good friend Marc came all the way from his duties in the Texas Senate to support the film and keep me company on the awards night.
It was a fantastic experience and I applaud the directors of the festival for creating such a wonderful event.
