Screening in the most prestigious venue in Australia was a dream come true in itself. The Smart Fone Flick Fest, SF3 had grown since I had my night of wonderful success last year, winning 4 awards for Rearview at the Palace Cinemas, so it's no wonder that I felt the pressure to deliver this year.
With such an iconic screening venue, SF3 received the next level of films from all over the world and the competition was fierce. I couldn't have been more thrilled with winning Best Screenplay for my short film 97 Seconds starring James Tobin, Mal Bailey, Alex Sulis, Kirsty McKenzie and Danny Bolt. The score had the place pumping, thanks to Rafael May and it was the best experience possible to enjoy the film.
My thank you went out to Jennifer Hill from the Avalon Art Gallery, she's was instrumental in the pre production of this film I couldn't appreciate her help more in making this little film happen!
