The Mornington Peninsula is one of the prettiest places in Victoria and every year, thousands of people come down to a massive outdoor film festival to watch the finalist films. They also have additional screenings and pop ups, it's a truly awesome festival.
We arrived early, watched the sun go down with the bands playing. Our very own skydiver Sheree Zellner had a special guest come and support the film. Darryl Somers! He really enjoyed the film and gave us some great feedback on it. Our scarecrow Mal Bailey was there along with Danny Bolt, 1st AD of The Skydiver & The Scarecrow.
Competition was insanely good, one of the best collection of short films I've seen. It made taking home the trophy for Best Screenplay all the more special!
